KODA pairs two of the Lowcountry's most seasoned musicians into one powerhouse duo. Vocalist Tim Davis brings over thirty years of stage experience — from fronting The Soul Mites in Columbia, SC during the 1990s (where he shared stages with Hootie and the Blowfish), to recording with Hootie lead guitarist Mark Bryan, to auditioning for NBC's The Voice. Known for his raspy, soulful voice and commanding stage presence, Tim draws from Motown, R&B, blues, and classic rock with an energy inspired by artists like Aloe Blacc. Guitarist Jeff Kozelski is a Charleston music scene stalwart with over two decades of performing, recording, and collaborating across the Southeast. A City Paper-profiled artist with two solo LPs and stints alongside Darius Rucker, members of Band of Horses, and the legendary James Brown Horns, Jeff brings versatile guitar work that moves effortlessly between soul, jazz, funk, and rock. Together, KODA delivers an unforgettable live experience — intimate enough for a dinner setting at High Cotton, dynamic enough to carry a packed event. They curate the perfect sonic atmosphere with reimagined classics and originals that span decades of great music, keeping audiences coming back night after night.
